About me

My name is Rebecca Porter and I am a photographer now based in Devon.

I have always loved taking photographs of all different types but I particularly enjoy doing portrait photography whether that is of an individual, couple, group of people, babies, small children or pets. I also enjoy capturing those once in a lifetime memories of weddings, christenings, birthdays etc.

I offer a mobile service where I can come to your home or a chosen location with my equipment or a studio style session at my own home.

When to book a session:

To ensure I have availability please try to book well in advance especially if you are wanting me to photograph a specific event or for newborn baby photoshoots. I do sometimes have last minute availability so please contact me to check.

What to expect:

Portrait photo shoots

…usually take between 1-2hours

If I am coming to you I only use natural light so if we are indoors I will need a clear space near a window or door that allows for a good amount of light. I can bring a backdrop if you would prefer your photos to be against a white/black background but most photos I do on location I try to make the most of the surrounding environment as this gives the photos a more natural feeling.

Baby photoshoot sessions

…usually take between 2-3 hours as the session is led by the baby and allows time for feeding and changing.

I only use natural light for these sessions so I will need a clear space near a window or door that allows for a good amount of light. I like to include props that are personal to the baby and family so if you have any special blankets, toys, clothes these would be great to include.

What happens after the session?

I will go through all the images taken at the session and take out the best ones. I will try to make sure your photos are edited within 2 weeks of the session and then the photos will be put onto my website in a password protected gallery for you to view. I will contact you with your personal password. Please do not take screen shots of these images as you will receive high quality files which you will be able to upload and copy as you wish. You just then need to let me know which images you would like.

My packages are for digital images but if you would like prints, canvases or framed images please let me know as this can be arranged (additional costs will be discussed and agreed with you before they are completed)
